Start with your Easy People

So you’ve got your toes on the start line of your people project, but how, where, with whom do you even start???

Start with your easy people, of course.

Look around your life at the people who are already there: your family, your closest friends, your work BFF. Ask yourself, who is someone you are sure will say yes to spending a little time with you.

Next, simply extend the invitation or if you’re starting with your kids like I am, simply put your plan into motion. Today, I mixed up a second batch of homemade hot chocolate mix and replenished the favorites of our hot chocolate bar for a sweet afterschool homecoming.

Need a different idea? What about:

  • Watch your husband’s favorite show with him

  • Take your mom out for lunch

  • Schedule a pedicure with your best friend

  • Check if your child’s school allows lunchtime visitors and have lunch at school with your kiddo

  • Try a new class at the gym with your co-worker

  • Go for a walk with your neighbor

Remember, it rarely takes as much as you think.
