Go First Challenge Week 6: Build a Basket

I can’t take any credit for this week’s challenge: Build a Basket. It’s 100% Brooke’s idea, and honestly, I’ve never done this one before, but I’m excited about it.

There’s a lot of different ways you could do this one. You could:

  • build a little basket of goodies for a good friend

  • build a large community basket that gets set out for several people to help themselves from. Think: a basket of fruit and muffins for the Sunday School volunteers at your church, or a basket of candy for your co-workers to enjoy just because

  • build a get-well-basket with extra-soft tissues, electrolyte packets, and chicken noodle soup for a family member who is under the weather

  • build a welcome basket with local treats, menus, and your recommendations on service providers for new neighbors

  • build a care basket with a few of your favorite postpartum items for a new mom

For the next 30 seconds, think about your people – who could use a thank you? Some help? Some celebrating? Now, just pick one, gather up a few items, and build a basket!

Come follow along on Instagram today while I get started on my basket. And tell us all about your basket by leaving a comment or tagging @brooke_turbyfill and @onehundredpeopleproject in your stories.
